As one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools, INSEAD brings together people, cultures and ideas from around the world to change lives and transform organisations. This worldly perspective and cultural diversity are reflected in all aspects of our research and teaching.

With three campuses in Europe (France), in Asia (Singapore) and in the Middle East (Abu Dhabi), a research centre in Israel and an office in New York, INSEAD extends the reach of its business education and research across three continents. Our 145 renowned faculty members from 36 countries inspire more than 1,000 degree participants in our MBA, Executive MBA and PhD programmes. In addition, more than 9,500 executives participate in INSEAD’s executive education programmes. With the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance, we deliver MBA and co-branded executive education programmes on Wharton’s U.S. campuses in Philadelphia and San Francisco, as well as on our campuses in Asia and Europe.

This academic year is an important milestone for INSEAD as we celebrate half a century of success. Fifty years ago, INSEAD pioneered the concept of international business education – and we’re still innovating across all of our programmes, not to mention our cutting-edge research. The world and INSEAD have developed dramatically in the course of the last fifty years, but the core values on which INSEAD were founded have remained constant. These principles have enabled INSEAD’s entrepreneurial spirit to evolve and the school has grown into a truly global force.

Today’s organisations need leaders with the knowledge and sensitivity to operate anywhere in the world. This is why business turns to INSEAD – to develop the next generation of transcultural leaders.

Indian Institute Of Management Studies - Ahemadabad , MBA Courses description and MBAs

Indian Institute Of Management Studies – Ahemadabad

Mission

IIMA’s mission is to help India and other developing countries improve their managerial practices both in the private and in the public sectors, and adopt superior public policies. It seeks to do this through producing risk-taking leader-managers who will pioneer new managerial practices and set new standards; through producing teachers and researchers who will generate new ideas of International significance; and through purposeful consulting aimed at helping client organizations scale new heights.

Objectives

To provide learning facilities to men and women of exceptional caliber for pursuing careers in management or becoming teachers and researchers in different management fields.

To promote knowledge through research, both applied and conceptual, relevant to management, and to disseminate such knowledge through publications.

To participate in and contribute to the formulation of public policy, which would provide answers to questions of social importance.

To enhance the decision-making skills and the administrative competence of practicing managers and assist organizations to solve their managerial problems by providing them with consulting services based on actual requirements.

To collaborate with other institutions in India and abroad with a view to further professionalizing management education and assisting in institution building, in a meaningful manner.

Vision :

A globally respected institute that shapes management practices in India and abroad by creating new frontiers and developing ethical, dependable, entrepreneurial, and socially sensitive leader-managers committed to excellence.

IIMA has evolved from being India’s premier management institute to a notable international school of management in just four decades.

It all started with Dr Vikram Sarabhai and a few spirited industrialists realising that agriculture, education, health, transportation, population control, energy and public administration were vital elements in a growing society, and that it was necessary to efficiently manage these industries.

The result was the creation of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1961 as an autonomous body with the active collaboration of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat and the industrial sectors.

It was evident that to have a vision was not enough. Effective governance and quality education were seen as critical aspects.

From the very start the founders introduced the concept of faculty governance: all members of the faculty play an important role in administering the diverse academic and non-academic activities of the Institute. The empowerment of the faculty has been the propelling force behind the high quality of learning experience at IIMA.

The Institute had initial collaboration with Harvard Business School. This collaboration greatly influenced the Institute’s approach to education. Gradually, it emerged as a confluence of the best of Eastern and Western values.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

MBAs.in is that Journey. We wish to create an ecosystem for MBAs and Aspiring MBAs by solving their need to find students and courses that they can take up to enhance their careers, earn their respect, their blessings and some money in the process.

What can you find on MBAs.in ?

As of now, there is little to showcase but we will be adding MBA Institute details of over 2000 colleges from India and from all over the world shortly.

That’s as I said, just a start though. We’ll add features that will mind boggle the existing sites offering similar services with NO differentiation.

So well, just wait out as we populate MBAs.in and you could help us by tweeting about our URL or sharing it on facebook or just sending a message to all your friends telling them the cool article you just saw.

If you have any ideas, feel free to use the comment box below this post and we assure you a quick reply

Soo Long !
